We specialise in sail training voyages on tall ships
Founded in 2015 in Moscow, Russia, our training centre represents an official partnership with renowned tall ships Kruzenstern, Sedov and Pallada – the world leaders of maritime education.
Since 2015 we completed 51 sail training voyages on the famous Russian and foreign tall ships like Wylde Swan, Christian Radich and Amazone.
Out educational programmes are based on the globally recognised standarts of International Yacht Training.
We also sail to the Polar regions (Antarctica, The Russian Arctic, the North Pole) and organise Transatlantic sailing voyages and various regattas.
In 2021 Maritime Practice joined AECO – the International Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators, which sets the requirements for the responsible, environmentally friendly and safe tourism in the Arctic.
Join us to become a member of the crew on board the tall ship! Our experienced instructors will help you to learn the basics of the "nautical science". Setting sails, climbing the masts, keeping watch – this is all about maritime practice!
YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
SAIL TRAINING VOYAGES ON BOARD THE TALL SHIPS
WHAT WILL YOU GET?
A week at sea
We design 7-day (or more) voyages, and we spend as much time as possible at sea.
The sea as it is
Our voyages are different from those on cruise ships. Open your heart to the romance of the sea, winds and sunsets.
As a part of the training course, you will become a crew member: sail over the seas, climb the masts, learn about the emergency procedures, the vessel, the basics of navigation and naval history.
We follow the International Convention of Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping (STCW), so you are in safe hands during any of our voyages
Here you can meet open-minded people who like travelling and sailing as much as you do. We are sure, that by the end of the voyage you will become close friends with most of them.
The time spent on board is so fascinating, you won't want to waste it on your digital devices such as smartphones, computers or social media platforms.
